Rifle Stocks

My dad recently purchased a K98 German Mauser from a gun show for $50 because it was pretty beat up. The gun was used in service.
He took out the action/barrel and sunk that into a new stock and chambered it for .308. So I now have the original K98 stock here, being useless.

Would it be possible to sink an airsoft gun into it? I havent really been able to find much on modding rifle stocks to fit airsoft guns.
Would pictures help?
