Alumiuium bb's, dangerous for your gun?
Hello all fellow airsofters!
I just saw on uncompany, that they had some Alumiuium bbs. 200bbs for 10$. I was thinking about getting some, just to see how big damage they do at impact. Anyone know if this is suitible for any gun? My idea was to test it with the m3 beneli from marui. Is these dangerous? Anyone ever tried them? How much do the weigh? Will the aluminium destroy the inner parts? barrel, hopup? Thanks, Kriss |

No problems using them, except the false psychological effect some people will complain about. They are said to be about 0.29g in weight, meaning they will fly out of my guns the same speed and hit with the same energy as my 0.29g SGM match grade sniper ammo. I don't care which ones I get shot with, I just know both will hurt the same amount.

Is that not quite expensive for a perceived benefit? You can probably get about 2000 plastic ones for $20.

Well, if 0.29g is the reason to buy aluminum BBs, costs me $29CDN for a box of 500 Super Grand Master BBs. Not sure his reasoning behind metal BBs though, but I'm sure he'll tell us. |

I never stopped being able to view and post. But I could not be read (apparently), and even my PM system was screwed because I could not even ask for help.

Anyways, since I like to put in at least something that is relevant to the thread at hand, I really don't see much point in buying aluminum BBs, and if yo uhope to try them through your TM M3, I doubt you will see any reason to use also. What does a TM shottie fire at, 200-250fps? You'd see 150-200fps or so if that was the case. Seeing as how you are in Norway, you guys tend to be pretty nuts as far as airsoft goes, so I can't see many pansies over the complaining about being hit by metal BBs. |

Ehem, calling us "nuts" is not the best word to express us from norway.
We are real vikings, tick skin, hard bones etc. We need metal bb's for skimrishing, since plastics just splits in two when hitting a norwegian viking helmet... |
