This isn't combat, it's airsoft.

Considering I've never seen someone cover the back of their head in airsoft, I'd say you're okay.

what i meant to say was that people use helmets, whereas this mask has nothing but straps behind the head. but thanks for the help, i was just thinking about getting shot in the back of the head and it didnt tickle my fancy. ill sacrifice myself for the WICKED onimaru mask...now THAT tickles my fancy

So many people use Onimaru masks aka ARMY OF TWO MASKS Its more of a matter of the mesh eye pieces.

If you get shot in the back of the head, YOUR DOING SOMETHING WRONG!!!!!!!!!!

They look cool... however the tunnel vision , and virtual blindness in low light means that they are often relegated to "photo op" use only.

Helmets are basically for show only... Unless you're prone to falling on your head.. but that is a different issue. Same reason as wearing a hoodie to make it hurt less..

Never been shot in the head (lucky me) but would something like a tuque, beanie, or ski mask help?

That will fix your fucking wagon right there. Just don't forget to put some mesh bullshit in the eye holes.

well im not buying a fake onimaru mask...the one im getting is custom straight from the website. so the eyeholes have no mesh at all they are polycarbonate 2.5mm glass and from what ive seen are extremely durable...and about getting shot on the side of the head...wont happen with the mask

Though work incredibly well for being a zombie. The tunnel and poor night vision result in inaccurate lunging, which in turn aids to the fear factor of the ones you're attacking.

But sighting a rifle is very very difficult.
