Will a 1911 slide fit a Hicapa frame?
I have the tanio koba spacer already, i have a TM 1911 with a hicapa slide, but will the opposite work?
Does a 1911 slide fit onto a hicapa frame? Any mods to the bushing or rod? thanks!

The Tanio Koba Slide Spacer is only required when using Hi-Capa slides (or some specialty 1911/meu slides) on the 1911/meu lower. Technically, you could use it with an original Marui 1911 slide as well, but it's not necessary. The 1911 slide should just drop right on to a Hi-Capa frame with zero mods, assuming you are not changing any of the internals/accessories on it, such as the bushing, spring plug, recoil rod, hop up chamber, or sights. If you are expecting to put Hi-Capa sights on a 1911 slide, forget it. The dovetail mount is completely different. If you're expecting to use the 1911 barrel bushing on a Hi-Capa, forget it. Even the spring plugs are not interchangeable. |

it fits fine, just have to remove one of the rails in the 1911 slide in order for it to fit. Even the bushing is in, hot
