Laser

Curious what people here use and/or recommend for a laser aiming device. Going to be mounted on a CAG36 if that makes a diff...

I got an old RCMP issue LAM that I have, works great but NOT allowed on the field.

Don't think many places allow the use of laser's anyways. Too much risk of eye damage or shyte like that.

Lasers? What newfangled shizzle is that?! Real men use iron sights.

On a serious note, you should check field rules - and check the people you play with - for laser use. Most fields won't allow it, and some people won't play if you run it either - a personal safety thing. Be sure your laser is going to be accepted before you browse for one.

BC_K... that LAM is friggin' gargantuan... how does it mount?! How's the heft with that kitchen sink mounted forward?

Mounts on ANY standard 20mm rail.
Only weigh's about as much as 2 G&P MP5 MidCap's with battery's in it. Length is bit under 7 Inch's.

Psst, Anyone know where to get them Square type screw's with the large nut on the end? 1 1/4". Need another one so I can properly mount it.

Like this one?

Don't remember what brand. You can find the same or very similar on WGC or Uncompany.
It's a level IIA wich is safe for the eye.
It's still bright enough to aim with and it's very precise.
It's useless outdoor during the day. But my G36c is my CQB weapon for now.

I got a green laser on my SR-15 SpecOps and its absolutely beautiful, very expensive but very beautiful. It goes miles, maybe 2 or more, and you can still see the dot (at night). Also at night you can see the actual beam being picked up from dust particles, its a really cool factor to see this green beam go across the feild. Its also visible at day in close range or at far range in a shady area (No direct sun light).
