problem with the MP5 folding stock

the screws on the stock of my MP5 are always coming loose. i don't want to use super glue to hold them in place, and was wondering if there is any other type of glue that would hold the screws in place.

ya, that's the whole point of stuff like loctite or saftlok and such...

http://www.saftlok.com/stl/threadlocker.htm

it keeps it locked but with a (little) bit of force you can break the glue and unscrew it again if you need to.

Nail polish works the same, and is more common to find in a household (ahem, well, SOME households!) Loc-tite is sweet & useful stuff though, well worth the money. You CAN undo screws after putting it on if you need to. Not sure which is stronger/more resistant to removal though, the blue or the red.

The red is more resistant to remove than the blue.

Use Loctite 222 (the milky pink/purple stuff). It's low strength so the screws can come up when YOU want them to, not when they feel like it. Torque the screws down "two finger tight" and let it set for a few hours before using to any great degree. At most Loctite 424 (milky blue), it has a stronger grip. Stay away from Loctite 271 (clear red), it's permanent, unless you want to blowtorch the part and burn it off. There's crap load more different Loctites, but these are the type I use most often at work on air packs. I've used 222 on all my airsoft stuff and it works great. FYI, do NOTget any type of thread locker on your goggle or tactical glass lenses. It will make the polycarbonate crack.
