VFC low FPS problem.

Hi, my VFC VR16 TacElite2 is suppose to have 390fps @0.20g. At my last game, it only did 276fps@0.28g (or arround 330fps @0.20g).

I will order this from airsoftpart.ca:

I'm also waiting for an order with wgcshop (prom 363mm 6.03mm with flat tensioner hop up)

I don't know if the bucking will solve my problem, so what king of upgrade should I do in the gearbox? (cylinder, piston, piston head, nozzle, gear, motor, etc..??)

you should open your gearbox for ordering a pile of stuff you may not need. I suspect your piston teeth are stripped and you are getting lousy compression

Sounds like an air leak. Instead of throwing money at the problem try sealing the bucking tighter to the barrel with dental floss or teflon tape, I saw an increase of over 30 FPS from that one thing so it may get you back to the numbers your used to. Also if you start swapping out a whole bunch of parts now you'll be even more stumped if you develop issues from parts not being 100% compatible or slightly off spec.

To noisy?

That's vague... you mean the gear box?

It's not that bad. It's just, on the field a lot of aeg I saw have more silence compare to mine.

sounds in the normal range to me. You could fiddle with motor height to get rid of a bit of the noise, and you could recheck the shimming.

Each gun will make a different volume of noise. Went to a game about a month ago with Frank, about 50% of the field was PTWs, each one had a slightly different sound volume some people commented that "X" gun was more quiet, and it turned out the loudest gun and the quietest gun where identical models / year / motor mod.

Sounds like your motor height needs to be adjusted, but the actual volume is fine

Yeah sounds okay. If you want a quiet aeg you need to meet a few basics. Great shimming and motor height, sorbo pad, bearing bushings (optional), a light weight piston/piston head combo, and the lightest spring you can run effectively (for outdoor any spring around 350-380ish is good, for indoor 280-330ish m90 is perfect for indoor).
The main noise after that will simply be a dulled thud from the impact of the piston head to cylinder, and the whine of tbe motor, to eliminate alot of that go to a high speed gear (either 13:1 or 16:1, 16:1 is fine and goin 13:1 on an outdoor setup will likely need a motor and big battery to run like my 430+fps 32bbps vfc 417, built for trigger response not rof.) And with the highspeed gears a mosfet and 11.1lipo, the trigger response will be fast so the soud will seem "quiet" because thebmotor will run for a shorter time.

I just want the ultimate build. Is there someone here who can do a list for me? (I can throw 10$ with emt or paypal if your want [full serious] for the greatest build)

-Silent
-high rof (around 25-28)
-FPS above 380 and below 400fps (field limit)
-great range and accuracy

I already have:
prom 363mm 6.03mm
prom flat hop up tensioner

I don't care the amount of money it will cost. I just want something really good.

Lonex pom piston head
sorbo pad
lonex red piston, swiss cheesed moderately
16:1 gears
lonex gearbox shell (tho im not sure of fit in a vfc so maybe just stick with the stock one, polish it and radius it)
Bearing spring guide
m120 spring
good 11.1v 20c+ battery
lonex motor red or orange
mosfet (i use merf, but there are beter ones. Merf is prety easy to install. Both red motor leads to one trigger contact and one signal wire to the other.)
Good wires if tye stock ones are crap, my vfc 417 had nice wires.
deans plugs
good shim job

I have:
systema gears
systema shims
systema motor
systema full cylinder
systema piston
systema piston & cylinder head
systema spring guide
systema air nozzle
systema hop chamber
Orga 6.10 barrel at 363mm
my own custom hop

Not really quiet, but cycles really fast, so that helps.
Very accurate at 250ft with .30s though.
