P226 Mag Compatibility

Is anyone aware of whether the KWC P226 GBB (not the X-5 model) mags are compatible with any other P226 manufacturers?

The only thing I found in my research was that the TM and KJW mags are generally compatible with each other, but not with any other brands.

Thanks!

That video was super informative, even if it carried bad news in my case haha. Thank you both!

All KWC's have proprietary mags. And parts. And upgrades. (of which there isn't many if at all, upgrades and parts)

For spare mags and parts check your model number out at Skypro's KWC sales site:

www.skyproairsoft.com/

Spare mags if available are under Accessories

If you have the model KG251 they have spare mags available:

Thanks, that was helpful to look through. The only problem there is that the model KG251 mags seem to be out of stock.

On a side note, I tried messaging KWC staff through the KWC website and they seem to imply they aren't going to be making more anytime soon.

This may help when you need to find parts/mags for a Taiwan made airsoft gun that you can't find anywhere:

0. Do not try to contact the company that makes them, they typically do not reply, or point you to a retailer which may or may not help you. If you can, buy from a Canadian or local retailer. Only do this when you can't find the parts anywhere.

1. Find a large (or small... whatever) airsoft retailer on Taiwan.

2. Find their email address. If you can read their site in Chinese, or have a friend that can read Chinese, that will help the first two steps. If your friend is from Mainland China (uses Simplified Chinese Characters), most of us can read Taiwan texts (Traditional Chinese Characters) with no problem at all.

2.5. Some of those retailers don't have a site, instead, they are Facebook-page based (but they may have an bricks and mortar store on the other side of the ocean), if you want to deal with them, send them a PM. If you are uncomfortable to deal with a Facebook-Page based online retailer, that's totally understandable and just find another one with a site.

3. Email them to ask if they can do an order of parts/mags and ship to Canada. DON'T order guns/frames/receivers. Use English or Traditional Chinese when emailing them. They will not ship stuff to Mainland China due to banning of airsoft in Mainland China, try not to give them an impression that you are there by using Simplified Chinese Characters.

4a. If they say no, find next retailer and email them.
4b. If they say yes, email them about the parts you want, you can also ask for their versions of parts diagrams (may be different from the one you found online or in your manual) if you need one.

5. Pay, wait for the shipping, and pray they get you the right parts. I was just joking, the chance of getting you the wrong parts are very small as long as you give them the right parts number. I only got wrong parts once and that was because WE do not distinguishing parts for Gen 3 and Gen 4 Glock on their diagram, the retailer was also partially responsible. If you got the wrong parts, it may not be worth it with the returning shipping.

6. Get the right parts and enjoy. Or get the wrong parts and try to resale/find an use for them... Maybe?
