but if you dress like that, how are people in afghanistan going to be able to tell you apart from everyone else? nobody can guess your CIA now!

nice kit though. looks really authentic. personally, i think it would look better with an Ak-74 or 74u, but that's just me.

Thanks guys...@ Donster, to be as accurate as possible in the impression all pics I have seen to date of CIA operators in Afghanistan have shown AK 47's. Although I'm not saying they never have used ak74's cause honestly how would we know for sure.

Its a very nice look , its a change from the common Multi-Cammed up commandos of the west, very nice.

Pakol $20
5.11 Vest $60-$70
Shalwar Kameez $25.00
Tac Pants $25.00
Merrel Saw Tooth's $200.00
3Day pack $150.00
AKMS $450.00
Total
$850.00

BUT it was all bought over time and is used in other set ups so it's easily spread around.

Looks real good. You didn't mention the 1-m blade antenna that is visible and is a good touch. Maybe add a H-250/U handset on the shoulder.

In terms of the AK itself, while I have seen a few variants in use by OGA personnel, the majority feature the side-folding wire buttstock vs. the under-folding steel.

can you point me to the Pics Whiskey? I am really interested in seeing them. I have seen SAS and SBS troops at Qala-i-Jangi with the wire stock but I haven't seen any CIA etc troops with them. Thanks mate.

Very nice impression. Got good access to most of the stuff... except for the standard issue Mk1 Mod0 secret squirrel beard. Damn this light colored facial hair!

Thank you for the message. Since you mentioned the 'House of War' (aka Qala-i-Jangi fortress) I have included some photos of the battle that occurred there. I do have other more recent photos of OGA personnel but I do not wish to post them at this time. Below you can clearly see the side-folding wire buttstocks in use. In the video that is out there, when UKSF/OGA personnel arrive on-site you can actually see one of the latter unfolding his wire stock and then slinging the AK.

You'll notice my images are edited for PERSEC despite the fact that unedited copies exist online. It's a personal conviction; I understand some things are out there but I will not be the source.

Hope this helps.
