There's no rule of putting lights anywhere.
You can put them anywhere you want....

Precisely. After I get a manta it will move to the back right and either a blue or green will be on the left.

Dear v-lite geardos,

Are you all buying real v-lites? Has anyone tried the chinese knock-offs? If so, how are they for quality?

I can't bring myself to spend $50+shipping on a gel-packed LED.

kisses,
horto

Mike,

From what I have seen, fake V-lites are terrible.
For Airsoft purposes V-lites are just glorified night deathsticks.
So if you already have a glowstick to signify that you are dead at a game, really there is no reason to put a v-lite on other than the sake of saying "I have a v-lite!"

Hugs and Kisses,
-Chris

What about these ones: http://airsoft.tiger111hk.com/Airsof...duct_info.html

They can also be bought individually.

These all seem like good enough reasons to me. Especially the 2nd one. And the 3rd one too, it's the same for me when snowshoeing, I usually used lightsticks, but now I just use the fake V-Lites as I can turn them off when I don't need them.

Well, that, and glorified glowsticks that blink and can stick to shit (with the Velcro). Ya know, bliking partylights.

Be tacticool erryday (best thing is, people don't know it's tacticool so I don't look like too much of a weirdo).

Fair enough. Conker, what is the quality like of your Chinese ones? Are they as bad as c3sk alludes to?

That Multicam looks... odd? Maybe it's the lighting.

From what I've read on the Element V-Lite replicas (E-Lites), they seem like a much better airsoft alternative. You can buy a 4-pack for $30 on ebairsoft.com right now that includes every color (red, green, blue, IR). Add shipping to that and you've got the cost of a single V-Lite in Canada.

I found both my real V-Lites for $45 CAD and they're definitely brighter and made a bit better. Since neither of those things are particularly important for airsoft I'd say go with the E-Lites.

If you want IR ones for legitimate night-vision use I'd get real ones though.

These are a couple of the Pro-Tec A-Alpha helmets Icaris and I had done up. I'm happy with how they turned out but was hoping for more of a CADPAT TW finish.

Ill take some more pics today when I wake up.
